A Progress Update - Channel Christian School, Margate

Tasbuilt Commercial have been working with Christian Schools Tasmania and JAWS Architects to develop modern new learning areas for the Channel Christian School in Margate, Southern Tasmania.

Construction is now underway on the prefabricated classrooms, with delivery to site scheduled before the students return to school for 2020.

These classrooms will include operable highlight windows to maximise natural light and airflow, and an extensive outdoor learning area with raking roofline over. Other features will include architectural timber external cladding and decking, acoustic ceiling panels to the classroom areas, and raking ceilings in selected areas.

Tasbuilts modular building solution ensures minimal disruption to the school and minimises any WHS risks associated with working in a school environment.
