One of James Hardie's mantras is ‘Your Forever Home Starts Right Now’ and this creates a fantastic synergy with what Tasbuilt Homes is all about! James Hardie is a global leader in providing world-class building products, specialising in a cutting-edge range of architectural claddings and finishes.
Tasbuilt has worked with James Hardie for many years and uses a wide range of their products. A commonly used range at Tasbuilt is the FC (Fibre Cement) cladding range in the James Hardie products as they suit Tasbuilt Modular style and with its ten-year warranty is a common-sense decision.
What is your top piece of advice for a client selecting James Hardie cladding for their new home?
If you have a desire for a contemporary look, Tasbuilt would recommend the James Hardie Prime line Weatherboard - it looks great!
These are a range of 9mm weatherboards for creating clean & stunning lines without the unpredictable nature of timber. But if you wanted a more robust cladding, we would recommend the James Hardie Scyon range as it is formulated to be lightweight but extremely durable – great for commercial applications (Change rooms, remote offices etc).
What trends have you noticed recently in the building industry:
A mixture of cladding is more common now, particularly due to different profiles being more available - people are literally spoilt for choice these days! Kerb appeal is a must in today’s world, Tasbuilt recommends the JH Axon board to complement our most common cladding - the Custom Orb Colorbond.
What are your top three picks for 2021-2022 from the James Hardie range?
The top three products for 2021/2022 are the Axon cladding, The Linear Weatherboard and the newly released Fine Texture cladding. These ranges suit such a wide range of applications and design styles.
