Big news — a dream has officially landed on Bruny Island.
For the very first time, a Tasbuilt building has been delivered to this iconic Tasmanian island, marking a major milestone in our mission to build across the furthest corners of the state. From the winding ferry ride to the on-site setup, this project is a strong reminder that when it comes to your ideal location, nothing is too remote for Tasbuilt.
Bruny Island holds a special kind of magic — rugged coastlines, wild bushland, and that peaceful, off-grid feeling that’s hard to find anywhere else. For our client, it was the ultimate spot to build, and thanks to our modular building system, the journey to making it happen has been smooth and well-supported. From design to council approvals, right through to factory construction and delivery, the process has been streamlined every step of the way.
Final works are still underway on-site, but the tricky part — getting the home to Bruny — is already a huge success.
This project proves what we’ve always said: if you’ve got your heart set on a quiet coastal hideaway or a secluded block deep in the bush, Tasbuilt can make it happen.
Because when it comes to modular building, remote doesn’t mean impossible — it just means we get to do what we do best.
