Our Process

We've developed a simple 6-step process for our commercial projects that ensures a customised, streamlined, professional building experience.

1

Preliminary Design

Book an appointment to meet with one of our design consultants to get the process started. Our design consultant will spend time with you discussing your needs, the solutions you envisage, and other details like budget and time frame. Working in partnership with you and your team, we will develop an initial design, adapting it as required to ensure it is a perfect fit for you, your site, and your business.

Once the design is to your liking, Tasbuilt will complete a comprehensive estimate.

Tasbuilt offers a free site inspection of your facility/land to ensure the design is perfectly suited. This allows you to discuss any options and issues such as slope, aspect, service connections, etc. We also invite you to spend some time with a consultant at our Sales Office, drawing up your plans and ideas.

Once you are happy, we will compile an all-inclusive obligation-free proposal.

Getting Started

Now you are ready to take the preliminary building steps. Tasbuilt’s comprehensive starter package offers the following features:

Exterior Décor Choice

Choose the colour of your roof, cladding, trims, windows, and so on. We can provide a range of professionally selected colour schemes or an appointment with a design consultant to assist you in his process.

Council Plans

From your chosen design, plans and specifications are produced to be submitted to your local council. Soil and wind tests will be carried out on your property. We handle all this, so don't worry. For more details on what this step covers, click here!

Contract Stage

A contract is drawn up, to be signed by both parties.

This...

  • states the contract price
  • sets out the payment plan
  • confirms other relevant terms and conditions

Once the contract is signed, and the initial deposit paid, we will apply to your local council for your project's approval. The approval process usually takes between 4-6 weeks.

4

Colour & Interior Décor Selection

Our client ambassador will work with you to create the perfect look and feel for your project, using one of our diverse, professionally selected interior design ranges. Our standard allowance covers most selections.

Tasbuilt's interior selection process covers extensive details such as the colour of your walls, ceilings, timberwork, cupboard doors, benchtops, and splashbacks. You can also select all your window furnishings, floor coverings, and light fittings, depending on your chosen package. We will work with you to ensure details such as electrical outlets, data points, and other essential services are included in the design to your requirements.

Should you request something above the allowance of your pre-determined package, we will advise you of any extra cost.

The Construction Process

Now it all becomes reality, and once the building starts it moves quickly. During the construction stage, you are welcome to visit your project at any time at our Westbury factory, to view its progress. After your new building is transported to your site, the finishing details are added and the services are connected. Lastly, the building is completely professionally cleaned for your convenience.

6

The Final Step

It’s then over to you! Once all the works are complete, a final inspection will be made by your local council. One of our staff will then meet you to guide you through your new build, familiarising you with any relevant details before handing over your keys, certificate of ownership, insurance, warranty information, and after-sales service details.
