# Additional Classroom Spaces

Additional classrooms for Mackillop College in Hobart, Tasmania.

 These new classrooms were designed to maximise a previously unused open space between the school buildings and the property's front boundary. Tasbuilt worked with the client to design the buildings to open off an existing raised portico area, ensuring convenient and safe access for the students.

  
The classrooms have been externally clad with painted cement sheet panels to match the existing school buildings. Internally, the large classrooms feature 2.7m high ceilings, acoustic plaster paneling, and heavy-duty carpet tiles for long-term durability.
