Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary Office and Facilities

Tasbuilt Commercial is proud to have built and completed this pivotal and transforming hospital and office building for the Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary. 

Completed in 2024, the Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary recognised the need for expanded and upgraded facilities to allow them to cater for the high level of animals they care for year round. They identified Tasbuilt Commercial as the ideal business to work with to build and deliver this building that has totally transformed their business and has allowed them to do more of what they do best: help and care for animals that need it.

The exterior has been clad in a simple, vertical, dark grey cladding, for a neat and well-finished look to the building. The building was conveniently placed just meters away from the existing building to allow smooth flow and movement between the two buildings. 

The new building has been designed to effectively include a wide range of areas that the business needs to operate effectively. One half the building consists of medical and operational rooms, where the fantastic team at Bonorong apply the necessary care and treatment for the animals. 

The other half of the building is the area where all the hard behind the scenes work happens – where the Bonorong staff operate from. This includes the reception, five office spaces, amenities, and further animal treatment spaces. 

It was an absolute pleasure to assist Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary in taking their operations to another level, and we can’t wait to see where this vital business goes in the future as it continues to make a mark in the Tasmanian environment landscape.
